Greg Howe Pedalboard SOS

Always great to see a great player noodle with their gear and get excited about subtle, yet significant changes. I've just ordered a GigRig G2 and I can't wait to get it in my hands. Now if I could only swap my hands out for Greg's...

Also interesting that he's using a Seymour Duncan pickup in his guitar and that the video edits away from the pickup discussion.

Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing, really cool video.

It's getting hard to resist putting in an order for a GH3...

Not sure why it's a surprise, or why they would have edited it out. You can get the GH3 with the SD pickup from Kiesel as a factory option:

In the video he's got a full-size humbucker in the bridge, not the Lil 59 (or JB jr, can't remember which was offered by the factory). Also, he says its got a 14" radius. Funny how the GH keeps evolving.

Ha! You're right. I missed that!!

I wonder if it's a Parallax?

He definitely does evolve. At one point his GH24 sig model was going to have a V neck profile!

From the website:

The GH3 is equipped with three S60A single coil pickups. The S60A pickups have higher output with a fuller tone that similar single-coil pickups found on other manufacturer's guitars. You can also select 3 Kiesel Lithium humbuckers, or swap out the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan Little '59 mini-humbucker.

3 Lithium humbuckers???????

It's a Seymour Duncan full sized pup - you can see the name in the video.
I don't think Greg is a Parallax fan.
