Yes, I crank the fender up, and use the attenuator to get my level. Then use and an expression pedal to go from clean to lovely overdrive.
And the cats love the heat from a cooking tube amp.
There's no substitute for cranking power tubes. No preamp 12ax overdrive can match it (like a Plexi roasting on full volume.. it will kill people but it's a hell of a great sound). Which is why my next amp (Carr Merc V) will be low wattage (16 watts) w a built in attenuator. My vintage X100B is great for stage and legit studio work, but less than ideal for home and small gigs.

25.5 scale and looks the same as my other ebony guitars.
I'll wait a little while before a proper comparison. I'm very comfy with the HH2 and also use the trem a fair bit, so it'll still be my "go to" instrument for now.
The fatboy is certainly a lot louder played acoustically and I want it for those jazzy tones.

I'd love to have an HF2 someday! Before the SH6 launched, I asked a couple times if a semi-hollow CT was ever created, that it be constructed like the Fatboy. Jeff had no idea what I was talking about (at least not in the moment). Ha!
