What about Vader guitar with piezo(AS).

Postby yihoe » Mon Jan 01, 2018 7:54 pm

Now, I can't order vader with AS(Acoustic Saddle) option.
I think, I'll be a great feature if Acoustic saddle set on the vader trem bridge.
What do you think?

If I understand correctly, there are two issues: Hipshot needs to make a version of the bridge that allows the wires to route from each saddles to the control cavity, and 2nd being the smaller control cavity (but I imagine there's got to be something that could be done there).

Graphtech already makes piezo saddles for the Contour trem; and Hipshot will sell it as a (pre-drilled) assembly. The Vader bridge uses identical or near-identical saddles; so it may already be in the cards.

I wouldn’t blame Jeff if he felt the demand for an Acoustiphonic/Hexpander Vader isn’t there to justify straying from the build template, but I believe the parts are out there for aftermarket modification.
