It seems that way. Pretty much any finish as long as it's gloss, including color-shift.

I wonder if one could do metal flake in red, with black over the top? ha!

That's really cool, but the non-returnable part is tricky.

Yeah, you still get a warranty, you just don't get 10 days to try it out. I wouldn't recommend a not-returnable build to most people for their first Kiesel unless I knew they were like me and a:) did a ton of homework to know exactly what I wanted and knew Carvin offered what I wanted, and b:) have a broad range of acceptance when it came to figured wood patterns, weight, etc.

Sorry, but when I see crackle finishes I can't help but visualize this:

My wife teases me whenever she threatens to buy leopard pattern silk pajamas! We used to call old ladies wearing leopard skin and tights (with obligatory bright red lipstick and nails) "cougars" on the prowl . :D

Exactly!

Well, I guess the crackle finish is a bit more predictable over a solid bright color. People will know what they are getting.
The non-returnable stuff gets super scary when it comes to exotic woods.

Ick. If I was hubby I'd rather have a nice long romantic evening with the guitar instead.

It's not for me, even when as a young buck, but it's fun that they make all this stuff available. It creates a lot of excitement and it also creates, in the hands of the right player in the right kind of band, a fun vibe on stage. If these and sparkle finishes aren't Live Show axes, nothing is.

I'm sure it didn't cost anything extra aside from the wholesale cost of the fluid finish to load into the spray guns, so I say more the merrier. It's not like plain white limba and koa aren't available.

And for what it's worth, that old woman's nail, lipstick, eyebrows and eyeshadow were all seemingly added MS Paint. i didn't notice it at first in my phone screen.

More options are always cool, but let's hope this isn't a trend setter! Metal studs anyone?

Yikes! I would be afraid of puncturing my scrotum with that thing! Or impaling a band mate.

It looks like it's half guitar, half rack of ribs, half Giger creature (I'm using Alex Jones math)..

The only reason I don't own a Moser is because their neck profile is too thick for my taste. Love those shapes; the Moepheus, Reaper, Bastard V, Spawn, and Siren are all super-cool, IMO.

I wouldn't even venture to ask how you sit and practice with that thing.

The crackle finish surely won’t be for everyone but I definitely can envision some cool looking Kiesel builds weather or not they would be for me personally.
The Ultra V and X220 would look pretty Wicked with these finishes. It’s fun and would make for a good stage axe for some players.
I would like to see some metallic base coats on these...or sparkle like spud suggested
