A production double neck is back on the menu boys!

Postby spudmunkey » Wed Jan 24, 2018 8:54 pm

Along with the reveal of the new Osiris model, came the announcement that it will be a production model in a double-neck version as well.

The base price is $2,500, and includes an alder body, two Maple necks, two ebony fretboards, stainless steel Frets, and two 6 string fixed Bridges. From there you can add trems, additional strings, multiscale, Etc. So the example that Jeff gave would be $2,850 for an Osiris double neck that is a six string with a trem on the bottom, and a 7 string multiscale on the top.

I wonder if the Aries/Solo neck would bolt up in place of the headless necks.

At least it does not cost 8 grand like that double neck they've in the in-stock section since forever

Agreed, That is however another very nice looking double neck that could easily be configured for 6/12 duty and CT headstocks If they could make it production ready at around the same money.

Jeff's said that the Zeus shared 'the exact same neck pocket'. With their focus on streamline production efficiency, I can only imagine if you bought a Zeus or Osirus, that you could swap in an Aries neck. You'd just have an extra Aries body laying around because a headless Zeus neck won't do you much good. :-p

The point being, you could order one with headstocks.
