It's really not an ideal method of picking up the nuances of humbuckers in particular, just vidding with an iphone, but we've pretty much gotta deal with what we've been given. @2:25 he says

"If you want a little bit more of that PAF/'59, Burstbuckerish family of tone... it's got it."

I'd have to go back and listen, but can certainly say that didn't sound like a 59 or even a BBucker. Nowhere near enough warmth, complexity and midrange.

Yes. Johnny Hiland liked it so much at the show, he bought it.

Someone on FB just got a Vanquish with them, and said in a quick comment that he was planning to raise them up a bit, and also, "Take this with a grain of salt, but they kind of remind me of P90's."
