Osiris question - zero fret or nut?

Postby jerrys » Sat Mar 17, 2018 8:08 am

Some pics I see a nut, others look like a zero fret.

The other question would be, does it matter? Never played a headless guitar or a guitar with a zero fret.

Just curious. Curious with money in my pocket. That's a dangerous combo. :D

Could you link to, or upload, any of the photos that appear to have a zero fret? I imagine it's just the reflection from the top of the nut they use, which had has a curved top, so the reflection of the light can look very thin.

I believe zero frets have been discontinued after they started running into issues with them

I was looking at the models in the photo gallery on the main site.
After looking closer at them and blowing the pics up, it does look like reflections and not a fret.

Thanks for the tip.

To be clear, Osiris and Zeus never had zero frets. Vader did at first, but they switched to nuts and offered conversions to zero fret owners.

Could any of you Osiris owners please tell me how many inches it is from the 19th fret to the bridge saddles, and how many inches are between the pickups?
