Is it better to order online or on the phone?

Postby Admin » Fri Feb 12, 2010 11:32 am

This question comes up quite often, and the short answer is that either ordering method will work fine.

Carvin.com is designed to accommodate online ordering practically any combination of products. However, for example, if you wanted a V3812 full stack, with one cabinet covered in Hot White Bronco and the other covered in Navy Bronco, you would need to call that in. If you have an unusual shipping request, or want to split your payment on two different credit cards, or other similar situations, you should call in your order.

Likewise, if you wanted to discuss a non-standard option, unusual shipping requests, a deposit other than the 20% offered online, or other requests on a Custom Shop build, you should call our sales staff.

The website and the sales staff both work off the same pricing lists - therefore, there is no advantage to ordering online versus ordering over the phone from a pricing perspective, and both methods of ordering offer the same level of accuracy and security. But if you have questions about a product, questions about options on Custom Shop guitars or basses, or any other questions that aren't answered on Carvin.com, by all means, call our 800 number and speak to a member of our sales staff - that's what they are here for!

The bottom line is that each ordering method has its own advantages - you can order online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can ask questions if you're unsure about your order by calling the sales staff. Using one method over the other doesn't speed up (or slow down) you order, and doesn't alter the pricing displayed on the site or in the Carvin catalog. So, choose the method that suits you best, and keep in mind that the entire Carvin staff is here to help you decide and make your purchase.

And, as always, we truly appreciate your business!
