In the GIS section now....and inexpensive! The only weird thing is using black inlays on ebony, never understood that bit..

While playing you can see the black dots, they are glossy against the flat black of the wood

Never considered that...I just use the side dots. In fact every time I get the chance, I select not to have face dots at all! That freaks some people out.

For the record, if that guitar had 24 frets it wouldn't be in GiS anymore :P

Agreed; the hummers move it out of Tele territory. :)

Without an ashtray bridge (which apparently is *still* on the way, and might not even be ready by NAMM) it's just a single-cut Aries. :stir:

Yeah these guys get a little crazy over ash trays. In a nice way LOL
In all fairness to those desperados Jeff teased that ashtray bridge like two years ago or at least it feels that long.

Well dang...

It seems my super-cool and original idea for the 8 I'm planning isn't so original after all. I'm a solid NIN kinda guy too, but for my first 8 I figured some black shiny things(in micro dot if possible) on a less color variation ebony board would help me keep my bearings.

Ah well...maybe not so ground breaking, but still a good idea imo.
