Cool split for each pickup + phase for each neck,
...then I see two outputs, so... stereo out? I don't think it would have been piezo... so maybe a kill switch?...

...
1 output for each neck (or both combined .. like stereo wiring), and a neck selector switch.

No just stereo output for the bridge and neck for whichever guitar happens to be selected by the switch at the time. Just like any other stereo axe.

Yup, agreed. Phase shifts are cool.

That double decker might require enrolling in an online university to learn how to work it though?

I’m still jealous of that double KOA though. Pure candy . . .

Yeah, I know, record something . . .

To respond to canon_mutant's question, "Just curious . . . what does this KOA beauty weigh?" the answer is 12.6 pounds. Sorry it took so long to reply.

That's not so bad, considering that the Gibby EDS weighs 13 and is the thin beveled slab of an SG, versus the square cornered LP Special thickness of these vintage 80's Carvins.. inasmuch as old growth koa will probably come in lighter per square foot than honduran mahog.

Really, that’s lighter than my TL hunka hunka burnin walnut.

Still a “beyond jealous” cool find!

Have you taken her for a spin yet?

Speaking of Burning Love, I just love this rehearsal footage of Elvis running through the song with his backup singers and ripping studio band.

And of COURSE it's a Telecaster supporting the song in such an elite studio setup.. the more I think about it the more I'm convinced that--despite Hendrix and Clapton (who did his best work on a Gibson anyhow.. from the BBreakers LP, and Cream's Fool SG + Crossroads 335) and the importance of a Strat--the Gibson Les Paul and the Fender Telecaster are the two most critical guitars in the studio (thus the very interesting utility of a Tele Custom with Shaw PAFs, or a long scale LP type).

I came so close to buying this one as well. If it had the pointy inline head stocks I would have. I am glad that someone who could appreciate it got it though. I have one of similar vintage in white that I Just love. One of the moderators here has used it for a Led Zep set with his band.

I play it regularly, mostly for ambient stuff. I had a luthier go over it, give it a good setup,
and restring it, and it is sounding and playing great. I like to use the twelve side for chord and drone things, then kick in the six side for Gilmour inspired leads over the top.

There is one listed right now on Reverb that i would have had no hesitation in grabbing until i noticed that there was alot of hacking done to it which totally turns me off. I'll just keep using the EDS1275 until one comes up for sale.

I'm almost intrigued enough to buy it. I love the feel of my '86 DC200's neck. I too wish this double neck wasn't so modified.

They were really unique necks. My old 150k is like home.
