I would prefer if it had a body-matching headstock.

Yeah I would like it better with a painted headstock. Also it has no locking nut with a Floyd, a gloss neck, thick neck profile, & nickel frets.

Noob question here... The photos of the guitars currently in the GIS--are they pics of the actual instruments up for sale?

Another noob question. What the heck does GAS stand for?

I did see a couple of beautiful SH550's in there. One has a beautiful spalted maple top and bigsby, the other was the cedar top with balckburst edges ... I'd take either in a heartbeat.

Congrats on pulling the trigger and welcome to the forum. Off to the waiting room to see your post.

Cheers,

This thing is ridiculous!
Someone needs to buy this before I do something drastic and buy it myself!!!

I'm shutting off my phone and going to rake leaves or something.
I need some air

I still need to make up my mind on one of those Geddy. Christmas bonus + 2 gift cards + sold a Telecaster = new guitar. The Spalt is hands down the winner in the looks department but then the Cedar looks great and has acoustic saddles.

That is some beautiful Black Limba arahobob.

Man I missed out on a burl'd one they got in yesterday and it already sold shortly after. I waited on it. I'm really considering that 7 string, although I wish it was a 6 string, it looks so unique.

There's also this one. Unlike the flamed maple DC that's been there a while, I think the traditional headstock oddly works on this one.

Bumblebee. What a beautiful top, and I agree I like the headstock a lot with this one. The burled one below that post is also beautiful with one of the craziest pieces of burl I've ever seen.

Amazing how the zebrawood echoes the streaks in the limba. This one would be really tempting with the proper number of strings.

And if I had any money.

If it had the proper number of strings, it would've been gone 5 mins after it was posted! :) That thing is a work of art!

What do you mean? It has more than 5 strings, all is good Bro. That 7th string is just there as a bonus in case you want to really rattle your b@lls and get the thunder pumping!!! It is a beautiful guitar, and the back ... to die for.

Cheers,

And not surprising she's gone already, wasn't me. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the extra string on the one I got.
