GIS Archive Moved

Postby Kevio » Mon Dec 20, 2010 5:42 am

I have moved the GIS Archive that some of you are familiar with. It is now here:

http://gisarchive.carvinguitars.com/

This was to get it out of the actual website space, so when I'm digging through the site, I don't have those thousands of pics to weed through, as well.

Keep in mind that the GIS Archive isn't an "official" feature - it's just there to give you guys some pictures to use for Photoshopping. There may be "scratch" pictures, Option 50 and/or NAMM finishes, test finishes, test photos, old models/features, etc. And it's all unsorted, so you just have to look through it.

Enjoy!

They aren't sorted new-to-old; they're just organized by file name, which in this case, is the serial number.

Cool ... 3174 (and counting) guitars and basses to sort through with no rhyme or reason. This could take a while. Can't blame you for wanting to get it out of your way. Merry Christmas Kevin!

Kevio, how is this archive updated? Are you constantly adding as they come in? Are you adding on a random basis, when you get extra time? Just wondering, so I know how often to check. Thanks, again, for all your brilliant work!

How often are pics added to the GIS Carvin photo gallery? Seems like I haven't seen any new ones in there lately. :(

The new ones are in pages 6 and above...then you begin the see old ones again...then back to some newer stuff, etc.

Bottom line : the new pics are NOT added in the last pages (well, not most of them).
Money can't buy hapiness, but it sure can buy guitars.

Also, they are added when Kevio gets time. It isn't automatic, and not necessarily a part of his job. :)

Call the ordering number at the top of the website. I'm sure one of the sales reps on the phone can answer that question for you and give you a full rundown on all of the options/specs.
