Ok check this out.
If you take a current in stock link such as this:

http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitars-in-stock/120004

And then take the number or code from the Photo Gallery pic you want specs from, for example... 113096b.jpg

All you have to do is change the number at the end of the in stock link to the number under the picture you want specs on.

So this: http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitars-in-stock/120004
Becomes this: http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitars-in-stock/113096

And there you have it!
Specs for what you are looking for. 8)

Hope that helps.

My experience is that this is initially overload but in the end it ends up perking and helping one land on this or that.

Really.

I wish Kevio would let me play with the Archive. I'd love to categorize all those by model and color! Seriously!

Just model would help tremendously.

The answer to this is probably out there somewhere, but what happened to the searchable archive functionality in the museum? I used that all the time for researching builds. It's still there, but none of the drop downs work. I've tried different browsers, but nothing seems to help.

Thanks,

Doesn't work here, either.

Two other options:
If you click in the ISA link from the ISA page, it loads a by-model gallery.

Also, there's this one (from the Site Features page of Carvin.com:
http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitargallery/index.php

This is frighteningly awesome.

On an unrelated note, it struck me that in the "Carvin Museum" there is no page for ST300s. What's up with that?

I volunteer my Angel to start the page.

There's a lot missing. There's no CS6, sh550, sh65, etc. There's also no catalogs archived newer than 2007. :)

Lots of content, but not a lot of time for one guy. Let's not forget that Kevio runs all three websites (Carvin.com, the BBS and the Museum) all by himself.

Stumbled back into the archive, and found a few that caught my eye that I don't believe I've seen before. I noticed there haven't been any recent posts in this thread, so I thought I would...

Nice to see they've kept the picture archive alive and growing (newest models, etc) and DIG IT: they've also updated it with a bit of sorting by era. Great improvement!

Not a GIS, but found in the archive. Apparently Jeff's serial number is 040166. ;)

I actually tried openning up a GIS listing and change the serial number to the file name of this pic like you can with the pics from the gallery to get a URL for embedding here, but it didn't populate the page with the image. I tried. I was hoping to see a GIS page with his pic where the guitar should be. :-p
