I can be in this club! excuse my photo skills....

I don't know the exact age of this one as I am not the original owner but I am certain it's vintage and you don't find too many of these kicking around!

1989.5 - I am the original owner of this one. Even though this has the 1990-91 headstock, it was ordered in '89 and received in late '89.
LB70 - 4-string bass with maple neck through maple sides, H13B stacked humbucking pickups (standard in 1989), 1990-style "pointy" headstock, black headstock, Schaller bridge, Carvin 22:1 ratio tuners, active-only electronics with volume, blend, bass, treble, deep boost switch for neck pickup, bright boost switch for bridge pickup, phase switch, and pickup selector
BC - Black chrome plated hardware
SL - Straploks by Dunlop
NIN - No inlays on top of fingerboard (side dots only)
PR - Pearl red

1986 - I scored it from eBay in 2003. This was bought as a replacement for my first bass, an '87 I bought new when I was in high school.
V440T - Four-string bass with maple set neck, maple body, ebony fretboard, mother of pearl dot inlays, brass nut, M22B humbucking pickups, Schaller tuners, and Kahler bass tremolo.
BC - Black chrome plated hardware
Straploks by Dunlop which I installed after I got it
B - Black

Finally found the matching Celestion cab for my X100B, which is circa '85, so now I'm all '80's, all Carvin, and my ears ring constantly!

Great thing about my landlord, he owns the bar my appartment is attatched to, and doesn't mind my Volume addiction... :laughhard:

New addition to the harem...

Retro to the max. Where is you blue spandex pants. Dont forget the head band.

But seriously are you the original owner or a collector. Because if you are the original, I know you have blue spandex pants. Bet they don't fit.

I think pictures of us then and now would be cool.

Nope, no spandex, even back then, and no, my leathers from those days wouldn't fit now, not for the last 10 years, even :laughhard:

All of these are from the last 3-6 months, I upgraded from the Gibby's and Marshalls.
I'm 2nd owner of the '88 V, and the head, I don't know how many people have molested the cab, or the '87.

I love how Carvin put the cream colored pickups in the early to mid 80's guitars and basses. It really gives a good contrast to the finish and makes the colors pop out.
