Thanks TJ , i'll agree ecstatically it is killer  8) And yes those saddles come that way on the black vintage trem, a nice contrast. They are really nice looking saddles and appear to be stainless steel. The machined work on them is very nice and by in comparison to a Wilky VS50 saddles and pot-metal gray psuedo-chrome, don't look low-grade.

Also a side not on the V-trem, the tone block under the hood is substantial, a really nice mass too it, even bigger than the stock one that comes on the OFR. And overall unlike the Wilky doesnt give me the underwhelming feeling 'could be better' in fact it's a great standard trem for what it is supposed to be.

So far tuning is great even with set up for 1/2 step up-pitch, nut lubed and all good. Loving the new Carvin tuners too, nice step up from Sperzels IMO, actually a big step up at that.

Interesting. Wonder why Carvin started using chrome stainless saddles instead of black. I noticed a pic of a Carvin with a black hardtail that also had chrome saddles. I personally prefer the all black look, but the chrome does look pretty neat against the black.

Honeyburst comes through again. Really nice, I like it on the plain maple a lot.

Seems to have started when they added the V-trem and only on that and the FT bridge. Floyd and Wilkies are still all black. Can't say I've seen any FT6's with the silver/chrome saddles. I wonder if supplier or whatever changed and FT6's started going that way too,... It sure works for me nonetheless, I freakin love this thing :woot:

Wow, thanks LT, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. And believe me, I do enjoy it, immensely! I'm in love with it!

Thanks PH, Pictures don't even do this justice if that possible to believe. It looks outstanding in the pics, but like in most cases with great looking finishes and figures, the in-person is another notch up the WOW ladder. The Honeyburst is such a rich warm look 'earthy' as someone described it.

And you ain't kiddin about seeing it on plain maple, and this one, I mean it looks they went to the Private Reserve Plain Maple Top Pile, it looks like a whole nother grade of not-figured-'plain'-super-grain-super-tasty  8) Plain-top lottery winner I am :D

And it plays and feels as great as it looks,... 8)

So this is the one. Super awesome. Congrats.

They should put BBE for the Bolts in the builder.

Nice to see you chime in Oot,, don't be hatin' man. Apparently I've got a pretty nice Bolt based on popular opinion in this thread :) 8)

I'm sending you a Thought-Hug right now :shh: and I suggest you call Keith Ighner and deal with the -missing your Bolt- dilemma. I love working out build order details with him.

Did you unload that beastly black bolt you had with the EMG's in it? Dude, time to start the Obsessive Builder GAS therapy.

I'd love to see a couple hundred Bolt-66's/BBE come flash-mob this forum around Christmas :stir:  This one took just under 6 weeks from order to the house!!

And FWIW as no surprise, this is IMO every bit the equal of the American Deluxe V-neck Strat I sold a couple years ago to fund my TL60T.

I am totally diggin this Bolt, and I have a great respect for the Fender Am. Deluxe line, love those, but not the compound radius and lack of SS frets. But for $600 less on this one vs. the Fender? No contest and No brainer!

THanks GOM my thoughts exactly! It IS the ONE , super awesome (thx again, all the repetitive concurrence with love for my Bolt here might start sounding weird but I appreciate everybody's complements),

And it should absolutely be in the Builder for Bolts. Before I head off to play it more, been too busy this week!! I think I'll go stir trouble in the Product Suggestion forum and all of you feel free to come chime in over there! Maybe it'll get in there, it should be a no-brainer for anyone there at Carvin, not sure why it isn't already a straight up promoted, advertised Killer option on a Killer model. :stir:

Alrighty all you Roy's Bolt Groupies, drooling all over the place,... :) wipe off those chins and head here

Product Suggestion Thread >> Bolt - std. option BBE in the Builder :)

and chime in on making the BBE option a standard choice in the Builder for the awesomeness of the Bolt!!!

I got this Bolt Tues, shoulda been added to the builder already right? :shh: :stir:

Real late to offering up my congrats here but it looks pretty sweet ... and classic. I searched the thread and "S60" came up only once and was not even listed in the specs. Did you go with the S60AR in the middle? What are you thinking of it sound wise by itself? I'm debating whether to replace the H22 in my C66 with the C22B left over from my CT6. Got that? :P
