I think this does more ash grain than any "raw tone"-finished guitar yet. I wonder if this is just an unusually- grained piece of ash, or if this is indicative of the newer, thinner finish.

Also, it looks like it MIGHT be a koa body rather than hog. That's rather red looking for the Honduran breed (African Khaya, a little more common) of hog.

That's one sweet CS regardless of how you look at it and whether it is mahogany or koa for the body wood.
