Don't know why the above reminds of this:

DC7X, with the optional Vader-style bevels, and the "old school" reverse 3+4 headstock.

If I won a free GIS guitar, I think I might just pick this one.

Besides the different woods and neck construction, note the Kiesel logo. How far are they willing to go with modding this model? Different headstock options, different inlays and different pickup configurations, they've got the perfect bolt-neck version of the ST300.

Love it

I wonder what the top is?
Body is limba.
Not mentioned in the listing - RNC must have top wood.

2013 Bolt Plus (Koa)
2016 Black n Blue VSEVEN
2017 TT SCB6

Wish List

based on the grain, that top is Limba or Mahogany.

they did recently say that the raw tone finish has been improved, to show the grain even better. This likely an example of that. As I don't recall seeing a raw tone of limba/mahogany, before, which showed the grain so well.

This might be way off base, but I think this one doesn't actually have a top.

RNC with no top is a big rule breaker.
The neck woods would look different though right? The top grain seems consistent viewing it on my phone.

I'm guessing it's a non ash or maple top. White limba

Folks have been told "no" and they are rare ...but they have done it at least a couple times.

Ahh, I forgot it was a neck through. The grain does seem less concentrated behind the strings/between the pickups...but I'm sure you are right. I thought I was on to something since a top wood wasn't listed.

Trying to compare the color of the woods doesn't work real well because you can see how different the backgrounds of each photos differs.

Boy, that 7-string KRG VM sure did get a better (more dynamic) fingerboard than the KRG VM8 I had, right? Or do I just like when things are too dynamic and weird?
