At the end of June, my #5 DC7X arrived:
Ash, CS, Trans Wine Red, AAT, 5MW, 270, 7PHR, APH, BMF, IDIA, IAB, STJF, R14, 50 (delete tone/vol-to-tone), BC, WL, SL
Oh my, what an amazing, beautiful, great feeling/sounding/playing guitar. It might well be my favourite of my DC7Xs. I've not been able to put it down since. Interestingly it's the second guitar I've ordered from Kiesel on 20th April (of different years), and those two guitars were the only two that didn't need any truss-rod adjustment out of the box. By strange coincidence, both also have the 5MW neck, so I'm not sure whether there's cause-effect there, or which is the greater factor.
Then today, my V7 arrived:
Alder, CS, R/BGB, 5MH, 270, MF, IKSD, IAB, STJF, R14, 50 (delete tone/vol-back-down), DSLB
I'd been thinking about a Vader for ages, but couldn't make my mind up about the colour. Then I saw a V6X go through the in-stock section that looked great - Ferrari red on the top with Black back/sides. So I decided to copy that colour for my own. Then there were special offers for the fretwire & shipping, which persuaded me to jump while I was still waiting for the DC7X. Still very much in the first "oh wow" euphoria with this one. The pictures don't show how LITTLE it is - the case is nearly a foot shorter than the hard case that the DC7Xs come in. It's very compact, and balanced. I ordered the plain maple fretboard, but it actually has quite a few birdseyes on it. When they graded the wood, it must have been very close to qualifying as a "BMF", but perhaps the uneven-ness/sparseness of the eyes persuaded them not to. Either way it's beautiful.

They've got some great reds and yours are prime examples.
I'd have a hard time knowing which new ax to play if I ever got more than one in a small timeframe. LOL
Congrats and enjoy X2!!
