 I dunno, Dr. Doug. I'd say that's the exact RIGHT kind of fall.
Autumn is nice, too, though.

This is why I always advise people to use a power soak on an old Super Lead before strumming a barred A major on the 5th fret. This is what happens.

And why I advise people to make sure they have proper footing before they attempt a super-douche rock-jump.

Yeah I dig that one also. I keep going back and forth between wanting a SH550 and a FG1.

Very nice! Love that “Ghosting” in the poplar burl vader bass. What’s the name of those green finishes?

The bass is finished in teal, but it's so green it seems like an unusual recipe of that color. The HH is emerald green.

Thanks for starting a great thread, dbone.

I wonder if that's because woods like burled poplar and burled maple have more yellow-y tones to them, maing a blue-ish green into a more straight green.

:applause: So glad to see you here. I've been listening to your track all month, my man. Beautiful complement to this season.

And what a portrait!

You're no doubt onto something, though AW's teal AW5 (which also appears in the AW5 gallery) features an intense burl and it's much bluer in hue:

(APW FB page)

But the bass in question does reveal some sepia-like tones under the color. It's most obvious in the lower bouts. (I always appreciate your considered remarks, Spud. Thank you.)

Good eye, NA. 8) Your description captures the look of that top, too.

Thanks so much Sir Emm! Great to see you and your emerald isle beauty on here as well, and it makes my week that that tune resonates with you on into the peak time of the Fall buddy!! :woot:
