Here are my thoughts on this model:
If Jeff can get Neil Zaza to switch his signature model from the CT to the Crescent, the CT line is gone.
The Crescent has a better neck heel and upper fret access, and is available in a mutliscale, and you can get a single coil in the neck position, and I believe neck pickup delete as well.
Plus, the CT looks too much like a PRS, where the Crescent is more of an original design.

For those who were concerned about the C hole placement - fear not - it is comfortable and I could only get it to snag my sleeve if I really worked at it. So, under normal playing conditions, there shouldn't be any problems.

Very interesting info on the C-hole ergos. Many thanks, as you seem to be our pioneer.

A little favor? Could you possibly post some up-close pics from various angles of the C-hole? I'm especially curious about how they might have rounded the edge of the hole itself, etc etc.

Great pics once again, sir.

Incredibly good pics.

What great work they did on that....rounded and finished completely and including color. Very, very well done IMO.

love it.
I thought the hole would be a smallish ornamental moon C. That is quite large.

She’s a beauty! Man, I really hope they do a Crescent bass, especially after reading your post

Dang dude. I absolutely love it!

Curious: How much semi-hollowness are you getting from the tone, if any?

Very nice! 8)

Make a 22 fret version, and I could perhaps be off the CT for the Crescent.

That's the REAL reason I think the CT is safe. Plus, it's still selling like hotcakes.

I love the looks of that guitar bro. How does it sound?

That's just pure win! How does it sound? How much of the semi-hollow tone makes it into the signal?

While it doesn't sound like a true semi-hollow, some of that warmth does make it through.
