Not sure how to embed since photo bucket got money hungry.
This thing is beautiful. Mahogany body, flame maple top with trans white finish. Bevel binding with white back & sides. Flame maple/purple heart neck. Kiesel treated Birdseye maple fretboard with untreated blocks in place of dots. Gold hardware and the piezo saddles. It’s truly a beauty and I got an amazing deal on it. It’s my second Kiesel, and not my last.
Here’s my DCM8 I bought brand new last year. Freakin beast.

Hey.... What is going on with the fretboard/fret markers on this guitar? It looks like some kind of blocks that are setup as
a sort of ISOD - Offset Dot Inlays (Staggered) (without the dots)
Please tell me what this option is if anyone out there knows.

And I'm normally not a fan of KTB, or those masked blocks, but MAN the way it's been pulled off there is completely subtle but just enough to stand in as a substitute for inlays, and is way unique. That is one enviable guitar. My guess is the guy who sold it hated parting with it, which makes me feel really bad.
I was just on Reverb, and a dude is letting go of an old Les Paul Recording (the slab mahog ones w the low impedance pups and the madman's laboratory of switches), and he talked about the fact that he's very ill and needs to liquidate his gear to have any shot at surviving. Ruined my day.
