McFadden's AE185.....my first Carvin

Postby McFadden » Thu Feb 08, 2007 8:10 am

It finally came! It's been building since Oct 24th, but i've been patiently waiting. The guitar is based on an SC-90 at the Carvin Museum, which you can see here: SC90 (second from bottom). It definitely turned out better than I had pictured. Though I think they accidentally flamed the headstock 8)

Its pretty basic, but here are the specs:
Cedar Top
Tobacco Burst (no red) w/ matching headstock
Black sides and back
C22 p/ups
Black Hardware
Stainless Frets w/ Ebony Fretboard and Dot inlays
Strap Locks

Wow! what a classic, clean looking guitar. Really like the black hardware and pups on that. Very Nice!!

Sweet! And I like the head. Almost quilt, not flame? Nice photos.
