thread bump...

I only saw this recently (as I type.. lol.. hows that for playing in time).

Anyway I happened to come across some information (not just wikipedia mind you) and found that Jaco Pastorius is related to Francis Pastorius, the man responsible for the founding of Gremantown, Pa, and he sent the first letter of abolition of slavery to the young US government at the time (the exact dates escape me at the moment).

Just saying, his family has much more to be proud of other than blistering jazz and a whole generation of players still figuring him out.

Hoping a prosperous 2016 for all here!
