Texas Bash '07....

Postby T-Bone-BBQ » Wed Jan 17, 2007 2:21 pm

Might as well get the new board started off right. Who's planning on making it to the '07 Texas Bash? I'm still looking at an October-ish time frame, but haven't set a specific date yet.

Hmmm, maybe we'll have to do some "Voodoo" just for SC!

Where will it be held? I'm in Austin (South of Austin actually), and I'd like to come if it's not too far.

Cymbaline, it's been held in Decatur, with T-Bone hosting the last couple of years.

I plan on being there but it depends on the baby thing. That time frame is when things could start happening out of the blue.

Martian boogie is a must and I would like to try an sing it if I am able to make it.

I might just have a V220 by then. I am still trying to make up my mind...pricing would greatly help in that regaurd!

I sure hope you and the family can make it...although I can't guarantee that you'll make it back home with your HF2. 8)

It's about a five hour drive from San Antonio to the Bash.
The Bash is on a Saturday so I have been driving out there on Friday and spending the night.
The first bash I drove there and back the same day....I was up for over 24 hours to do it!
Some of us have been getting together for dinner on Friday, breakfast Saturday morning, and dinner on Saturday.
There is always food and refreshments at the Bash, of course a small donation of funds for food and rental of the facility is always appreciated.
BTW this will be Texas Bash #4!

And if anyone can drag along a drummer (or two) and some drums this time it'll be easier on Riv.

Too bad I couldn't make last year's bash. It sure looked like y'all had a great time. Now that I'm in sunny Erie, it's not quite as easy for me to drive the 5 hours like I did before. I guess I'll just have to get the video this time. Hope all is well with everyone!
