How many people are here from Western Canada?

Postby sAvAgE » Sat Aug 28, 2010 7:02 am

Just Curious. I have not seen a Carvin Bash for British Columbia , Alberta and Saskatchewan.

How many Western Canadians do we have on this board?

On second thought, scratch that idea. I was in San Diego a couple weeks ago, and it's warm there, and they have beaches and good seafood and...

So the next time there's a bash in SD I suggest we just go there instead.

I may end up in Alberta outside a year, time will tell. Depends where I find work when I am looking.

Well hey just thought I would ask.

Red Deer could be a possible location. It could also be a jam and not a bash if it is just you and me sparecycles :laughhard:

Is there anybody else? I guess we could also say Idaho as well

It's a zombie thread, back from the dead.

I'm in the Edmonton area, about 15 minutes west to be exact.

I have yet to talk to anyone else around here that knows anyone who has a Carvin, or has ever seen a Carvin playhed live locally.

I'm willing to bet I have the only DC800 in the area.

Planning on being the only one with two DC800s around here very soon. :)

Stony Plain, born and raised. And would have laughed my ass off if someone told the high school me that the grown up me would choose to live here!

I live in Port Angeles, WA. Victoria is a simple, 90-minute ferry ride away. I could come up some time to Victoria, for drinks and bass lovin'. I usually visit once a year, anyway.

Vancouver and Victoria and Canada in general were a big part of why I moved to the Seattle area. From Phoenix...yuck!

I did everything there is to do in Phoenix in a year and took my time doing it. I could do something different everyday and never do the same thing twice up here. I love the BC area. Hmmm let's see, NW & BC or San Diego & Tijuana... tough decision, NOT :laughhard:

[Not anti Mexico btw, I spoke Spanish before English as a child.]
[not anti S.D. either, grew up right up the street in N. Hollywood ha. If your daughter ran off with some guy on a Harley in the later 70's-mid 80's, that was me. Sorry lol]

I'm from smack-dab in the middle of Canada.
We might be touring out west in a month or so though.
