How far North?
I know there are quite a few in S.E. Mich that would probably like to put another bash together. (It's been a few years since the last one)

I'd be game for a Travers Trip.....
But, it might be easier if you came down state.

I'd be willing to help put it together.....

Where are you? I am just throwing this out. I don't have a venue or anything just want to see some more people with an open mind that love Carvin gear.

I only get 10 mpg when i am hauling my rig so i would like to keep it as close as possible?

I'm in the 48382 zip code.
I have access to facilities and PA gear, so you wouldn't have to haul anything outside of your Carvin guitars and amps....

I can email the guys that were part of the last one to see if there is any interest for something perhaps this spring or summer....

Looks like further than i want to go but not out of the question. I am really hoping for guys in my area. I have worked with some bands up here that use Carvin but i know there are more hiding.

Gigs up here kind of suck, only paying bands 4 to 5 bills in most places. Any better down there??

Okay N.P.

Most of the standard bar gigs around here are the same 4-5 bills.
There are some that pay more, but they are tougher to get in on the rotation w/out and agent or some good connections.

The bigger $$ is in the wedding, or private party circuit, but then you are stuck on top 40 for the most part.

I'd be interested in a Traverse City jam. Dan, I attended your jam about 4 years ago, and had a great time. Is Mustardseed still happening?

Ok, how many are interested in Traverse City? I am 30 miles south of Traverse.

I do have a large pole barn but it in in the village limits and volume would have to be reasonable.

Linc,
No Mustardseed these days, ended a few years ago......
But I have a new band - '2nd. Nature'. Just now getting out & looking for gigs.

bobabouy,
I guess we'll have to see what kind of interest we can stur up, then based on everyones locale and schedule, we can start tossing out some dates and locations....

I'll put a note up on the Museum and point to this thread, and send a few emails out.

Final Mix, are you familiar with a band in northern Michigan called The Jellyroll Blues Band? They have been around up there for about 30 years. I know the guitar player from way back in the 1960's.

Dan, please let me know where and when your new band will be playing.

Hope this jam comes off, I really enjoyed the last one. My new V3M will make an appearance.

I am interested as well. I'm in south east MI but would love for a weekend retreat up north.

Saturday's in late summer/fall work best for me.

Okay, the idea of a summer get together is gone like the summer weather. Does anyone feel like trying to get something like this somewhere in Michigan in the forseeable future? It would give me an excuse to play a lot more, so I don't embarass myself too badly. Besides, I like to hang around with people who know a whole lot more about something than I do (in this case, guitar playing), so I can learn new things.

I'd still be interested in doing something this year.
The only piece of Carvin gear I have left is the silver Bolt in my avatar.
But, I can bring all kinds of other fun stuff to try.

The key is finding a place we can use for cheap / free and can jam at a realativly hi volume.
This generally happens when you have 6-7 guitar players all rawking out at the same time

Last time I put one on at a local hall, it was $10-20 a piece to rent a room.
Open to suggestions....
