So, who's going? There's going to be a lot of cool stuff this year, and not just from Carvin. See you there. 8)

Good Mike, how are you getting in to the show though?

Are you 'in the industry'? I'm in the electronics industry but, we don't make musical instruments or audio gear... I couldN'T get in last year! Reciept of sales had to be provided to prove being in the MI industry.

I think it's funny that NAMM lets Carvin be a member. They're about the only company manufacturing that doesn't need STORES like every other mfg. to move their gear.

The MI industry contunues to get smaller with Yamaha buying Line 6 now.

The guitarist in my band is apparently "in the industry" and got passes for myself and the drummer.
I went years ago with my friend's dad who was co-managing a music store at the time - I had just started playing though (I wasn't even 18 yet  ) and so I couldn't appreciate it nearly as much as I will this time, but it was still really fun.

I was able to get into the show back in the 80's by having an audio related reseller's number.

Too much FUN! All the new gear plus celebrity musicians!

Say 'hi' to the Carvin guys for the rest of us slobs!

The Consumer Electronics Show probably has MIDI guitars that work with XBOX... or some other box.

I think somebody mentioned that there should be a time where all the BBS members meet up at the Carvin booth in another thread. I think that would be really fun to meet some of you in person and get to know everyone outside of the interwebs. :)

I'll be there the 25th and 26th, it would be cool to have a BBS meet. Anyone know how many others from here are going? Hopefully this thread isn't a good indicator.
