Bloodspatter Finish
Hi All!
I've been thinking of getting a 7 string for a while now and just haven't had the motivation to pull the trigger... until the blood spatter finish shown on kieselguitars instagram.
The the white/white with the black hardware and ebony fretboard looks beautiful... then that cherry red splatter. I must have it!
Any idea when it'll show up on the builder?
Cheers,
Terry

Possibly never.
It may always remain one of those "call my guys" options.

Yep, it's one of those options you can only get by calling in your order. Unfortunately, some options can't readily be configured with the online builder because of how it integrates into their full system.

Re: Bloodspatter Finish
The "blood splatter" is a non-returnable option, like all of the splatters. They still carry a full warranty, but there's no 10 day trial, so they tend to limit the availbility of those in the builder.
And probably way deeper than you intend the conversation to go, and you may already know it...
Technically "blood splatter" isn't it's own paint job...it's just one of the thousands of combinations you can build with the "splatter" option: one base color, and up to 3 splatter colors. There have also been a couple different variations. Some with "White White" as the base color, some with Diamond Pearl White, some with the darker "Blood Red" paint splatter and some with the brighter "Ferrari Red" splatter, and even some with both red colors.

And that's why you call

Re: Bloodspatter Finish
Thanks for the info guys.
I'll have to get on the phone and get one built asap.
Actually, any idea on the extra cost for the splatter finish?
