Good point, I'll have to check on that. Sure would save time over Tolexing.

I had some crazy ideas lately.

First a new lid/latching/hinging system that can be opened from either side or removed completely.
I'm still working on the hinge design.

Second how about a another lid with glass so it can also be a display case.

Much more round than a standard case... I like it.

Had a great Idea for a finish other than tolex, LineX!
They say they can LineX anything, it's available
in colors, and it also ends with an ex.

Is that name pronounced like "Line X" or like the operating system, Linux? If the latter, that makes for a nice geeky pun, since Linux can usually go on darn near any piece of hardware.
We are entitled to our own, wrong, opinions.

Guitar theorem: G=X+1 where G= guitars one needs, and X = guitars one has.

Do or do not; there is no understand.

You know, I never knew how to pronounce Linux.
Unix offers more comedy potential.

I've heard it said in TV commercials for LineX pronounced to rhyme with "pine sex". in case that helps.

Do you have any ideas for the Extrusion on the ends, so that it could stand up on end on its own?

I would never leave a guitar in a case standing on edge or end unless I was supporting it in some way.
Even though it will stand on it's own either way, I would always have a hand on it or I'd be straddling it. :soapbox:

I learned the hard way, they slam down pretty hard. :wall:

And I'm not considering two little wheels to speed through the airport,
although I did consider four large foldout wheels on the bottom.

Turns out since I needed to add a lock, I decided to put another
bumper on the case so it will stand up on end.
Thanks for the Idea spud.

So...now that the design is done, when will be it available to order, and I assume it'll be $80 and ship in a week, right? :laughhard:

Right..80 for the case, and 120 for the custom interior in 8 to 10 weeks.
