More Gibson moves, cakewalk no more

I guess it was always the step child behind pro tools and studio 1. I like some features it had but never used it much.

On a side note, when I found this I was looking at the close out sales and found the 11 rack now as low as $349. I remember when it first came out it was like $1100. I think it was supposed to be the next best thing but fractal audio beat them to the punch and the eleven rack never took off. At less than $350 I might get it just because it has a great reamp feature in pro tools. Not a bad D.I. and the effects cant be all that bad I recon.

What gets me about this is that only 4-5 months ago Cakewalk was selling lifetime memberships to continual updates... for one fee only. And now (as thought they didn't know 4-5 months ago) they will no longer be offering any new updates. Nice scam!

Very lame. Sonar was too big and complex anyway. Arseholes.
