Those are full of vintage TS808s. I think you're thinking of what happens when a beehive is opened.

Speaking of used items for sale.. something's been bugging me:
is there something wrong w the trad headstock logo or am I just nutz. The logo looks off to me...

The former is from that sweet koa V220 from the mid80's (looks like it might even be the same shipment of wood mine was cut from), and the latter is from a mid-80's DC200K. The 220 is linked in the koa thread, this is the 200:

Ironically, scooping the mids (and getting the midrange band adjusted to the right place, near the top of the dial) is the key to dialing the bees out of a Metal Zone.

Yeah either that or abalone on the 160's and the gold plated 200 high end 200k's w the block inlays.. of which that's not. That's a poly'd decal--that guitar is of the general "bling" level of mine:
*Plain hardware (except mine was 1st year of black hardware and this 200 is straight unfinished chrome).
*Dot MOP inlays.
*Decal logo on the stock.

What would a mid heavy bell curve get us guitar wise?

Who knows...maybe he is correct in it's value? But on the other hand it's only worth what somebody is willing to pay.
I was thinking about the listing and what someone was really willing to pay. That statement is always true. I have been guilty of forgetting that when looking around.
The point of his grammar not making him smart is not a very smart one to make. Many extremely intelligent people lack a small skill somewhere here or there. You can be a genius and not do well with a pen. I always laugh at the grammar police. Especially when they are just splitting hairs. I think a lot of them are just trying to make themselves feel better by pointing out something they do better. I suck at grammar. It is something I have never been interested in. And as long as you get my point I really do not care. I do not feel any less intelligent, just not as passionate. People may judge me. But if you have seen the way I walk and dress, I have bigger problems than grammar.
You make a fair point about grammar policing. You say you suck at grammar. I'm probably worse than you. And I'm terrible at spelling! I'm just terrible at communicating. But you and I both can make a good attempt at proper sentence structure.

I'll get off my soapbox. Sometimes I say things that should probably not be said. You make a very good point but I just wanted to explain a little more as to why I made the comment.

I mean... If I'm posting something for sale for a million gosh-darn dollars, I'm going to have someone proofread it, I think.

Planet Green Derp, eighth stone from the sun in the LW (LolWUT) solar system. All lying in the heart of the Galaxy of Nope. It's so dumb it deserves chan speak.
Because the idea that Dime related guitar would command that kind of bread out on the market is absurd. If it could it'd probably be sitting in Sotheby's at auction to get it in front of the guys that have that kinda drachma. Ie cut to the chase.
To think that thing can sit next to Greenie, or a first generation korina V or Explorer, or something like Jimis Woodstock white Stratocaster or Page's 2 burst Lesters, is insane. Even average 58-60 bursts don't command that kind of money.
People have made offers on it, however. I'm dying to know the amounts.

One of my phrases at work is "You can lead a horse to water, and when it won't drink, break its neck and shove it into the drink." By the time I say it, people realize I'm not playing around anymore, and that they actually have to do what I told them to.
