What is this old Carvin audio thingy?

**this is not my add nor do I know the seller, just curious WTH I'm looking at and though it could be of value to someone on here**

I believe that's a PA head.

Definitely an old-school PA head. Reminds me of the fabled Shure Vocalmasher, or even a late 60's/early 70's Peavey.
