Lone Son
Adding some high-gain to some Country type tracks (although it gets heavier in a few spots). Using Band-in-a-Box http://www.pgmusic.ca for the backing tracks and sounds.

Infusion
Two hours to kill and I thought I would compose something of a modern tone mixed with some Latin cha-cha type backing tracks. Guitar is a Kiesel Vader. I have a Maple Leaf Royal Drive going into a Red Scorpion distortion. The Maple Leaf gain is only up at 9-o'clock, whereas the Red Scorpion is on, but the gain turned all the way down. The Red Scorpion adds some grit in the mix. Those two are running through a clean amp channel (Le Lead preamp) and into the Carl Martin Rock Bug (amp/cab sim pedal). Any harmony is via the Quintessence pedal (I added a 5th in a small dose).

Crosshairs
A 1.5 hour composition and jam (I gave myself that much time to develop and record). Nothing fancy, but it's fun to riff things out now and again. Using a Vader VM7 through the gain channel of the Le Lead preamp.

I Love the Way You Love Me
Originally had vocals and words, but my singing leaves a bit to be desired. It became a short instrumental:

Simple Promise
An instrumental combining dirt. I took a high-gain channel on the Le Lead preamp, which not only sounds modern, but a touch sterile (good to my ears, but you know what I mean). I added the Vintage Fuzz II (model 2 SA 202) with germanium transistors. I kept the Bias somewhat smooth (a hint of breaking up) and the Fuzz at about 11-o'clock. It produced some great harmonics, bites and a different dimension to the tone.
