Testing out the new SCB6C

Postby Dark Helmet » Thu Mar 24, 2016 6:00 pm

I wanted to see how the Lithiums would do on one of my recordings so I re-tracked the two rhythm tracks with my new SCB6C. This is a song I wrote for my band in '91 or '92 and I wanted to re-record it to get a better quality recording than what I had from back then. The solo was done with my HH2X. Not sure if it's a really current song stylistically but I was always proud of the riff so I wanted to have a good recording. Anyhow, I played the guitars, bass and did the singing (and wrote the music and lyrics). The drums are samples.

Hope you enjoy!

Proud owner of a sweet McLaren Yellow Kiesel SCB6C. I also have a JBV6 that was built but needed to be sent back to have some additional perfection mixed in. Expecting it back "any day now".
