I just received my 7 string Delos with Lithium pick-ups in a HSH configuration. The fretwork, paint and tremolo are all great. The slimmer neck profile and the fretboard, as well as the tuners, are the best I've ever played. I don't really want to give the guitar back to Kiesel for an exchange of some sorts. With the Lithium pick-ups I chose, I thought they would sound a little different than they do. I just have some questions about the pick-ups and returning the guitar for different ones:
1.) Does Kiesel have a pickup for the neck and bridge that is more of a PAF sound?
2.) How long do I have to wait until I can change the pick-ups myself without violating the warranty?
Thanks
Does Kiesel have a 7 string pickup that's close to a PAF?

Berylliums are the closest you'll get, I believe they have a 7 string version.
Changing pickups doesn't void warranty, but it would make it far more difficult to get warranty support for electrical issues as you would have to prove your modifications didn't cause a pot to fail, etc... But it doesn't void the warranty for manufacturing defects.
