Return policy?
Hi -
Quick question, how do I return a guitar within the 10-day trial period? Do I simply ship it back or do I need a return authorization number? I emailed help and customer support but haven't heard back yet (~1 day already). Does the 10-day trial period include shipping time as well?
Thanks
Jeff

Re: Return policy?
ALWAYS best to call them on stuff like this. The 10 day trial begins when you receive the guitar.
Just be courteous and to the point when you call and they'll take care of you.

Thanks. Will do. Does the return shipping count in the 10-day trial period as well?

Cool, thanks. I just called them and they said to just ship it back and they'll get in touch with me once they receive it.

Are you returning it because you simply do not like it? Or are you returning due to quality issues?

The neck/back contour on this one is very different than my previous Aries I got like 3 months ago. Both have the same specs just this one has the bevel, different color, different neck pickup, and SS frets. My first Aries feels like a flat D whereas this one (returning one) has a C shape and is thicker. It almost feels like they forgot to do the Thin neck option.
The bridge pickup is also very muddy even though they are supposed to be the same (M22SD in both Aries) as my initial one.

If you feel strongly that the they did not do the thin neck which you asked for, I would request a pre-paid return label. Even if they receive the guitar and somehow determine that you are Incorrect and they did indeed do the thin neck, you would only be out for their shipping cost. Instead of like $60+ it costs for you at a UPS or FEDEX store. They only make you pay to return instruments with no mistakes or QC issues.

Doh, I already shipped it last night. I'll see if I can recoup the shipping costs if I decide I want another build instead of just s return.

Re: Return policy?
Good luck on the reimbursement.
I had to send me DC727 back for tuning stability issues and Albert said it was due to too much paint in the floyd recess.
Sent an E-mail about getting shipping costs reimbursed but no luck.
