4-hole Humbucker Bezels

Postby jburl » Mon Apr 23, 2018 7:26 pm

Hello, I have a mid-80s Carvin CM-140 that I'm putting back together. I'm reusing the original M22 pickups, and bought the humbucker bezels from Carvin, but it turns out the old ones don't use the 3 adjustment screw configuration, they have 4 adjustment screws instead. Does anyone know where I can find a 4 screw bezel, or should I just DIY them?

For years around here, people have recommended http://www.fretsonthenet.com for pickup rings for their Carvins. I don't know for sure if they have the 4-hole version pattern, but I'd reach out to them. If the two screw holes are in the exact same locations on the one side, they may be able to duplicate it on the other side to give you a 4-screw ring.

I'll state that I have never used them, though, so my comment is only from what my brain can remember reading around here. :laughhard:

Thanks for the resource, it looks like they do have a 4-screw option. $20 each though! I think I may try to DIY them with some of the walnut I used for the body repair. Wish I had a CNC!
