After 15 years of dreaming, I finally did it.

Hello all,

Add me to the "omg this wait is torture club"... I ordered my first Kiesel. Been fantasizing about this since around 2003.

Nothing too crazy, DC127M, swamp ash body, rounded sides, 3pc maple/walnut neck, carved top headstock, trans cherry sunburst with no headstock wood overlay in gloss, standard ebony board with mop block inlays, tusq nut and black ring / double cream bobbin berylliums and the silver/black kiesel logo.

Very excited to see how this turns out.

Congrats on the long-awaited (and now seemingly even longer to NGD!) guitar! Can't wait to see a "fresh" DC127 with the rounded body sides!

Thank you.

Had this spec'd out for years. I was tempted by a vader, really tempted actually. But the 127 had to be first.

Congrats rtc975! Don't worry too much about your struggle to choose between the DC and Vader. Soon, you'll have both in your collection and be wondering how it is that you are on your 3rd build already. The addiction takes over pretty quickly. Be careful. :D

Totally forgot to update this thread...

Arrived on 1/9 after a huge pain in the ass situation from FedEx. The local FedEx Ground crew essentially lost the package for 3 days (was loaded in on a contractors truck and not scanned). Hugely frustrating. I ended up making contact with the manager for the local hub and she held it on premises for me to sign for and pick up in person.

Anyway, super happy with the purchase. Well worth the wait and holy hell, love the berylliums.

I love the way the 3 piece neck-through looks on that.

I'm usually not a fan of the neck wood showing through the top, but this is perfect.
