I can do that. 8)

Option #1: 22-frets

Lemme guess, option #2 It has an E string. And bonus freebie, ANOTHER e string!!

There is no e-string...only strings tuned, or not tuned, to e.

They started including that in every order I believe in 1945. Lowell was a brilliant tactician in that sense--he knew what the average buyer would appreciate in going that extra mile for your business.

Smart of Mark and Jeff to continue in that vein.

I did think of that. Alternating octaves. What happens when you break a string?
bass player - What key are we in?
drummer - A.
lead singer - I'm not loading or unloading nothin'!

Heh...reminds of me some terrible band jokes.

How many guitarists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
-51. One to do it, 50 to say they can do it better.

How many bassists does it take to screw in a light bulb?
-No one noticed.

How many drummers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
-None, they've got machines for that now.

What's the difference between a drummer and a drum machine?
-One can keep a beat, and won't try to steal your girlfriend.

None. The keyboard player does it with his left hand.

Two. One to do it, and the other to say how much better it would have been had it been done by (insert virtuoso instrumentalist here: Van Halen, Satriani, Peart, Pastorius, Holdsworth, Hendrix, etc)

Definitely thinking a solid color, non-metallic. First thought was seafoam green, but I wouldn't be suprised with the light blue or Surf green.

Nah. Matt has white. Something retro. Surf or sea foam green is my guess. Perhaps powder blue.

Good call. I just figured he maybe had a thing for white axes because I know he has a couple. One of the retro greens would be cool....

It's fun watching the speculation. You guys know me so well. 8)

The thing is, even six months ago, this guitar is something I probably wouldn't even have considered.

Looks like someone might be winning the free rubber plant!

I have to be honest, I was surprised to see you order an Aries too. Didn't think you were a fan. I would have thought your Contour or your Bolt kept you smiling in that corner all the way. I would have marked you for buying a Les Paul with humbuckers (or something like that, CS6, but that's very close to your CT so I would have thought you would have gone with true 24.75 either from an old Carvin or a Gibby or Hagstrom or something like that) for your next axe, because I can feel the LP GAS crawling out of your avatar over the past roughly year....

Yes, that really was the dream for a while there. I still hope to get a nice CS before I die. :)
