My first Kiesel - Aries 7

Postby PO0784 » Sat Aug 19, 2017 5:53 am

Hi everyone,

After a LONG thought process, I decided It was finally time to build my dream guitar and main axe. I've been stuck playing the same two Ibanez (RG7620 + RG7420) from 1997-2000. I wanted to get away from floyd rose AND keep the same neck shape. THNN option saved the day.

Here's the spec list:

Aries 7 without the bevel
Hipshot contour 7 trem
Alder body, maple neck (nothing crazy here)
Poplar burl top and headstock veener
Custom burst (see picture)
black ebony fretboard
20 '' radius
Stainless XJ frets
Thin neck
Abalone K inlays with staggering offset dots.
Black hardware

They did a very similar finish on a solo 7 multi-scale. I just want the burst depth differently. Otherwise... a rather simple guitar :).

It should look like this :

New guitar day! Was amazed when I saw it on Kiesel FB. I can't be more happy with the final product. Fretwork is perfect, pickups sound great, killer look, amazing bridge... Finally something that can replace the old beaten up RG7.

Gotta say : shipped on friday and received it monday in Canada. Now, that's FAST!

Big thanks to Kiesel on this one! :applause:
