Shoutout to Jeff Kiesel

Postby alij » Sat Sep 23, 2017 2:46 pm

I've always been drawn to Carvin guitars so no convincing necessary, however Jeff Kiesel does an amazing job of promoting their brand and guitars. Watching their factory tour youtube videos and his passion for what they do deserves a shoutout. Nice to see a company take pride in the quality of work they pump out

I've just purchased GK1P kit, I'd like to install my own active pickups
Has anyone does this? If so is it possible have kiesel route out the battery pack cavity? Or did you guys do this yourself

Greetings.

This might get moved to the "Builders Forum" area of the BBS.

I don't think they would route that for you. Call with credit card in hand and ask, is the rule of thumb.

There are people on this BBS that are very good at this kind of work. Let's see what they say about doing it your self.

Did they offer piezo or the active module on the Bolt Plus? If they already have that body program, i imagine they might do it.

Thank you guys
There was no piezo option only passive
I'll give them a call to see what they can do
Also curious, do you guys prefer the look of walnut or black limba on a guitar body?
I went with walnut but I go back and forth between the two, thats another change i wanted to see if they would make
