Black limba Aries A6X

Postby peoplearestrange » Fri Dec 08, 2017 9:41 pm

Super stoked. Just ordered it the other day with help from Noble. First Kiesel guitar, and I have high expectations and I'm hoping it will be my 'Number 1". HSS with lithium sc's and holdsworth in the bridge.

I play in a fusion/progressive band so I'm hoping to get all the sounds I need from this baby

Yeah that's a farhkin beaut. Nice pup choices too, the Holdsworth should sound awesome in the bridge since it's designed for the long(er) Fender scale HH, so good on you! I love limba, and green rules! I'm not big into colored finishes, but green ALWAYS gets a pass from my eyeballs because its so danged awesome.

yeah, I'm quoting myself. :D
That color scheme is on my "menu", has been for a while. I may do a 22 fret Aries like this at some point?
I never considered royal ebony, not a huge fan, but it really works on this! (Maybe because the light spots are still dark enough??)

Thanks! Im glad your eyeballs approve haha
And wow I didnt know that about the Holdsworth, I just really liked the way it sounded in the demo and Holdsworth himself was an effing guitar master so I wanted a tiny little piece of his mojo. Definitely glad with my choices now

Yeah, i didnt ask for anything specific as far as the woods so Im glad the got the earthy look down with the darker cut of royal ebony.. I really cant wait to see the whole thing when it gets here.

I also love how the changes in the limba shift the green from dark to light, but not too drastically, I was afraid of that possibilty. They really know what theyre doing..

Oh and that aquatic looking quilt on your prof pic is a thing of beauty as well
