I was going to try the pistachio treatment on the black limba but I chickened out,
spent most of mon and tue trying to talk myself out of the purchase but in the end I'm weak. :?

Still got some weeks left on my V6.

Here's a good one, I'm an old fart and have no Idea what social media is good for, but I joined Facebook just so I can see the Kiesel live videos. Now I have no Idea what to do in there, lots of people I don't know keep showing up as recommended friends. :? :)

I love spalt. From the multitude of strains, the one we're used to seeing, is the one that has the black zone lines.
Some of the other strains fungi that spalt, are now used to produce amazing pigments. https://www.northernspalting.com/

The nice thing about Facebook is the opportunity to help people in need. You may, for example, hear from people that are in a financial jam where it's easy to help.

Someone overseas might, for example, have a large amount of money coming in via an American relation leaving an inheritance in their will for them, but needs a stateside associate that can receive their money for them because the decedent's bank doesn't have branches in your new friend's overseas country. So like, the person in maybe Indonesia or Ghana may have $100,000 ready to be wired to them, but will be willing to pay you a cool $5,000 if you will just receive the money into your personal account for them. They beautiful aspect of the scenario is the human warmth: that they're willing to trust you with all that money, and that you'll only take 5k for yourself. Then once you have the money in your account they'll be counting on you to forward it on to them via overnight cashier's check or Western Union, and then they will let you keep that sweet five grand for yourself.

All you have to do is give the generous stranger (once you exchange a few cursory PM's on messenger, you can't consider them a stranger anymore, though, right? All's good at THAT point, right? R i g h t??) your banking info, all of the routing info, etc, which they will of course need so they can tell the party needing to wire them their money what account to put the money into.

This sort of trust and friendship across the platelets really defines the Facebook community. It's less a community than it is a warm global family, full of acts of kindness, decency, and empathy. The ability to help your fellow man in their times of need can really enrich the inner self.
