Waiting for a CL6

Postby HarlowTheFish » Sat Jun 30, 2018 12:57 pm

I'm waiting for a CL6 (due 8/15/18), standard spec other than:
Thinner Neck Profile
Grabber Blue Gloss
Tung Oil Neck
I'm pretty excited, as I love the fanned frets (just get cramps from the neck profile on my Ormsby GTR), the Lithiums (which seem like the Fusion Edge pickups on my RGR652), and blue guitars in general. Now we play the waiting game for another month and a half.

Nice! Is the whole body Grabber Blue, or is there a "clear back and sides" paired with it to show the body wood in the scoop?

...but I suppose we'll find out soon enough. Ha!

It's all gloss Grabber Blue, with the tung neck. The way the CL neck joint is, clear back makes the jointing really obvious (like if you had a mahogany CS with a maple neck, but even more obvious) and I'm not a big fan of that.
If I could get it with a bit of a heel my ideal spec would be mahogany body, flame top, and a matching color flame maple neck, but I just find that it looks kinda unfinished.
