Nice ST Texas Flood - remind me of the old Charvel Model 4's from the mid 80s.

That one I do believe used to belong to one Rob L. Famous round these here parts. I believe it was one of the very first ST300's ever made. :applause:

Edit: Here is the thread. Too bad his pics are gone, but thats the one. :wink:

So.. I became a member of this club a month early! I have my insanely awesome ST300 order in for Late April, but I actually managed to pick up a ST300 used tonight! It's probably already pictured in this thread, but a refresher won't hurt.. I'll take good pics of my own when I get both together.

Image

Look familiar guys?? Yes, Pat sold me his amazing ST300 tonight for a price that I won't mention here, but I will say it seems like the best deal I've ever received on any gear in my life. I dont know if he had something he wants to buy fast, just loves his HH1 that much more or because I've volunteered for him to sell tshirts at his show haha but it was a deal I couldnt resist.

I played it before at his place, but it was only for 10 minutes or so, never got to test it through my AxeFX and really put it to its paces.. but so far, I think its in the running for top 3 guitars I've ever played, despite some options Im not a fan of (rosewood, jumbo SS frets, floyds) - It's just so smooth and great. If my ST300 plays anywhere near similar to this, well lets just say I am going to be a ST300 user for life! For some reason, they seem slicker and faster than all the previous DC models I've owned, by a large margin!

ST300B arrived 7 weeks ago. Still can't get over the "Uber-Strat."

* Koa neck and body, clear gloss
* 3 twinblades with coil splitters and all-position switching (5-way and 2 minis)
* abalone blocks on ebony, 10"
* pointed 3+ 3 headstock, abalone logo
* non-locking tuners & pearloid buttons
* rosewood knobs
* chrome hardware
* Bigsby

Parsecs beyond "freaking AMAZING!"

Will try to post a pic.

New member of Club ST here! And honestly, I now wish I had joined this one first. Don't get me wrong, I love my DC's, but this ST seems to have a certain "it" factor that the others don't.

What kind of a derpus gets away with posting that he has a "koa neck and body, clear gloss" 300 with abalone blocks on an ebony board, rosewood knobs to boot... goes on to say he has owned it for 7 weeks... then he proceeds to announe that he will--quote--try to post a pic--unquote--as though obstacles face his photographing his own guitar, in the way a climber might say "will try to climb K2, (weather/avalanche-lack permitting).." and he has not been mass PM'd bovine-bells on wheels?

What manner of post-filth is this? And where is the forum mob I usedta silently watch in the days of yore who would have turned him into jellied consomme'?
