I agree with you there, but the CS is it's own instrument with it's own voice. Can it sound like a Les Paul, yup! and like a strat and a tele too (if you get the 2 vol, 2 tone controls). I don't think it kills a Les Paul, but it certainly outplays it by miles, has way better craftsmanship, better pickups, and it is certainly way more fun to play. It'll have you grinning every time you pick it up. Ya, it's that good. I got mine with the Koa neck and body, soooo tastey.
I hope you get yourself one real soon, you deserve it Bro. Oh, welcome to the forum.
Cheers,

New addition to the CS club: CS4, gloss black with natural back and sides, ebony board, MOP blocks, S22's, stop tail with new AS piezo bridge. No eye popping exotic wood finishes here, just a clean, elegant, classic looking rock machine.

re: CLUB CS
I have been saving up for a CS4 but when I went to the guitar builder today (for the thousandth time) there wasn't a CS4 or CS4 24 offered. The -6's and the -3's were in their usual places but no -4's.
Is this just a website glitch or did Jeff remove them entirely?

Bro!!!
Outstanding gee tar! No problem with your photography skills at all, you just need to include more photos ... maybe a body frontal and full frontal. The body and neck woods are to die for!
Cheers,

Bro, that is one very special looking guitar, wow! I'm an orangeburst fan as you could guess, but your guitar just kills from every angle, what a top!!! I hope you're loving her as much as I'm loving mine.
Cheers,

Thanks brothers. Yes, the orangeburst is a phenomenal color, and they absolutely killed the quilt photomatch. I was completely blown away with what an exquisite selection they did for me. You pay a strong rice for a Master Grade top, but in this case, it was more than worth it. Love the matte ebony headstock too, with the black ebony fretboard and MOP blocks. The whole package turned out to be a very rich, classy look. And it plays just as good as it looks. I'm also truly impressed with the Kiesel pickup in the bridge position. I think that pickup is going to be very highly regarded once its reputation gains momentum. I don't regret replacing the Kiesels with BK Juggs in this one, but my next build is going to have a K12 bridge one in it for keeps.
