Yes.. it's a 5 piece maple/walnut neck... with claro top and headstock overlay too...

I'm behind with my pics... I'll get around.. so much to get caught up on early 2014...

OK, to keep the thread intact... here it is.

This bass started life in 2009 with a fretted ebony fingerboard on a maple neck with a standard headstock, but was converted to a fretless ebony fingerboard on a maple neck with an Icon headstock in 2012.

I originally gave it a traditional tung oil finish with Formby's low gloss tung oil that I steel wooled. When I converted it to fretless I also refinished it with Formby's high gloss tung oil, and left it with a glossy finish that I wet sanded.

It is very comfortable to play. The action is extremely low since I shimmed the neck pocket. It presently has Carvin flatwound strings installed.

Ok here's my DC 145 with a walnut neck and body, with a Claro Walnut top, B.E. maple fret board I tried to get it upright, but my tablet isn't cooperating..Image
