Carvins And Your Pets Club!

Postby RockCrue » Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:49 pm

Ok so recently I have realized pets (family) seem to make it into pics of our beloved guitars a lot...
Time to start a post of our guitars with our wonderful companions. 8)

My cat Tiny and my CT6.

Here's a picture of my Australian Terrier Murphy (and my brother / sister-in-law's Yorkie, Monty) with my Lizardburst DC131.

Technically speaking, it's a DC135 according to Carvin, but hey, I don't care what they call it! 8)

HA! Great idea for a thread. I'll get my fat cat Ralphy to pose with my C66 when it finally gets here.. then we can debate on whether or not cat hair in your pickups affects tone.

P.S.

Murphy looks like he's just waiting for everyone to leave so he can pee on that guitar.

No pic from me. Denim, our blue mink Tonkinese, bolts when he hears a guitar case
being opened. Don't know why. He doesn't mind guitar music from a cd or tape or radio,
but pull out the guitar and he's out of the room.

That's probably because Monty, the little schmuck that he is, DID pee on that guitar stand a few years back... (Don't worry, I cleaned it up!)

Our cat Bali and my AC375:

I don't trust our puppies around my Carvins yet. They're still at the stage where EVERYTHING is meant to be chewed on.

ROCKCREW1, I don't know why I never thought of that one. I use "Lightning" as his key word for treats!!!!!
"ThunderBolt and Lightning"
His AKC name is "ThunderWolf Von Loeffler"
If I had the Bolt when I got him his name could have been ThunderBolt.

Still love that bolt kit Dave. Every time I see it, I pause to look at the pics. The pre-redo (please don't take offense) is just so fugly. (again, just my opinion). But the changes you made to that guitar are so drastic without changing that much.. I just love your choices, and the effort you put into this re-build. It was an epic job.. especially with the headstock overlay.
