By the looks of it, you can just outrun it! :laughhard:

It's just mad cus the guitar is taking away from it's tuna time.

Does the guitar have a D-Tuna?

Sadly no D-Tuna, but it's got anything you would want!

I happened to be taking pictures of my SB5000F to send to the baker so they have an idea of how I want my groom's cake to look, and two of the three fur-lined "stooges" that I live with happened to come check things out.

This thread got added to recently and I thought how much I like it seeing our furry little companions with our Carvins. Thought I would make a club and moved it to the club area for everyone. :D

Can't believe I didn't remember to get my black lab, Oscar, involved in this thread!

Unfortunately, he wouldn't stay still long enough to get a decent photo with my TL.

But hey, at least they're impressed, right?

Electric blue (metallic). Unfortunately it's a discontinued color.

And it's now back to its original pick guard.

You are earning some major points if she does!

In all seriousness, I know you are serious and thats pretty cool of you. Sounds like you are a lucky man. Congrats. :D

Thanks Rock! She knows and I tell her all the time, which is, BTW, some of the best advice I can give anyone. Tell them her how you feel all the time.

Now, these darned violins are expensive. Then you have the bow which can be even more than the violin! How can a little strip of wood cost $3K?!?!? Boggles my mind.

She is the first woman that does not hassle me about the time and money spent on playing, buying or modifying my guitars. She is even tolerant when I make the house shake with my Boogies. In her words "I'd rather have you home playing your guitars than out in the bars or out with friends getting into trouble".

OK, I can't resist. Here we are!

THIS I APPROVE OF!!!!!

My wife is the same way as long as we can afford it she gives me no grief in buying music equipment. Though you promised your wife a violin, I promised mine a new laptop so she can write before I buy any more gear. My wife is the love of my life and don't deserve her.

I agree. Bills come first. When my wife needs something she gets it. I Ask and when we can afford it, I can pick up a toy.

Marriage is a two way relationship.

Awesome post!

The birds name is Ozzie. I got him as part of a real estate transaction 16 years ago in April. He turns 18 in 3 weeks! Not going to kick him outta the house though. Unbelievably intelligent, as are so many of our non human roommates "on this rock" as Evster puts it

Oh, opps. This was my Carvin, till me and the Wilky had to go separate ways before someone got hurt. I dearly miss the guitar as it had really nice grain in the swamp ash and the ebony board played so well. Other than the Wilky... this model anyways. perfect.

I can assure you I will be placing at least two 27" scale 7 string orders when they become available. How many more depends on what other model seven strings Carvin allows. X220 w/reverse body = another sale, Symmetrical V = another sale, C77 w/smooth heel = another sale, Bolt Kit 7 string = another sale, Acoustic Electric steel string 7 = another sale. Those are the for sure sales anyways.

Oh, and about 6 weeks ago I tried to order a TL based on the one CMGio's post just below that is shown in the guitar stand with his pals next to it. They would not route a OFR on a TL at this time. At least not for me ha. I was told "it is too much programming for a one off" ha. Guess they burned the code after doing CMGio's lol.

How's this for a Carvin and my pets? Carvin is a swamp ash Bolt (not plugged in for this particular video). Pets are a large male Alaskan Malamute that likes to sing (and knows all the words, even) and a normal size female Alaskan Malamute that can't be bothered by any of it. 8)
