Thats really good to hear. I was worried that there would just be no room on the higher frets. Also one last thing. Which picture of your jb200 do you think captures how it looks in person the most? I feel like the finish is difficult to photograph. Ive played the jb they have in the hollywood store and the color is just so different from how it is online. I took pictures of it with my phone and i was amazed with how drastic the color change becomes. Depending on lighting it can come out as a dark blue or a really really light blue.

The DTS Sapphire Blue has a depth to it...the DTS process makes it a little darker in low light but when light hits it...it pops like crazy.

Depends on the lighting I guess.

It is beautiful either way though.

Well it looks like ill be getting an identical guitar to yours. Thanks for the help and sorry for copying. I thought jasons original was flawless asthetically, but then you proved me wrong with your version.

Welcome unofficially to the club lol...
Have you considered other Flame DTS finishes? I would love to see a JB with a Tiger eye flame.
You know you can get the JB with any color/top wood configuration right?
Take your time and browse the pic database and the JB owner's forum on here...

Good suggestion Rabihz24 but with a name like FatalFable he/she is a true blue Jason Becker fan.....Sapphire Blue is WAY to tempting in that case....I know for a fact. ;-)

Ive seen quite a few i like. Theres some with natural wood color i really dig. The only way i would go for another color is if i got a second one sadly. Ive wanted the blue Carvin for years and i have bugged jason about a signature guitar on his forums too many times haha. So blue with DTS is way to go for me. I agree that i would like to see different colors and bursts, but not a lot of people seem to be posting their JB's. also im a he lol and keyofz is right. You just cant pass up that blue.

Wow that red is incredible. Honestly im a 7 string guy so i think all future 6 strings will be some form of a jb. That red is going on the top of the list for guitar number 2

Hi ya dude,
It takes lots of practice if your a intermediate player...Yes i kinda like using the whamy and sometimes it does sound a bit like Jason...Altho im influenced with more from Early satch and Eddy.
Its hard for me to show you remotely..But my advice to you is, just practice using the whammy more and more. Not just doing dive bombing, fluttering or pulling off on it...Just hold it with your pinky whil picking the strings. That way you can manipulate the bar easier and instantly...Just one of the techniques i use...
Keep watching videos and listening to Jason and Steve vai...it will come naturally if your dedicated and blessed with a talent.

Good luck mate and plz ask any questions you want...

Thanks a lot. Ive had floyds forever but never really used them outside of one part on evil eye by malmsteen. My dad was a big satch fan so we usually always had floating bridges. Now guitars look weird to me without them even tho i dont use them much. Hopefully ill get it down. Maybe some day ill pull of a crazy 12 minute shredfest like you were able to pull off so easily haha.
